Dog center Ajax Ltd was founded in May 2006, with the aim of building up a
comprehensive cynological center, which
would concentrate on dog training for service purposes or on organizing
training courses for beginners or advanced cynologists. One of two
copartners of the company is Roman Šmatlák, who
has been breeding and
training dogs for more than twenty years. The premises of the
cynological center will be used not only for the training of dogs and
organizing dog sport events but it will be also available for the hotel
for dogs or cats.
For this purpose, the building of the
former piggery also with the
surrounding grounds, which is situated in the area of the agricultural
cooperative Agrospol Bubovice in the village Volenice (district
Pøíbram) was bought. It is now being rebuilt according to
the
contractual project. We have presently completed 24 kennels with floor
heating and its own drains. Most of the kennels are linked to the
outdoor runs. The fenced area also provides grass plot of 6 000 sqm,
which is used for training and further walking of the dogs. On the
ground floor of the building there is also a reception room, which is
connected with a shower for dogs and a food store.
We also managed to complete the clubroom
for cynologists to meet the
requirements for comfort not only of the dogs but also of the dog
handlers. Now it is possible to use the whole area for organizing
various sport and social events such as the dog shows, bonitations,
training camps etc.
